What to expect
- 50 multiple-choice questions on grammar and vocabulary, getting harder as you go.
- 45 minutes. The clock starts when you press Start, and the test ends when it runs out — so begin when you have a clear stretch of time.
- One question at a time, with no going back. Answer each as it comes.
- No dictionaries, no help. A result that flatters you only means an uncomfortable first week in a class that moves too fast.

50 multiple-choice questions on grammar and vocabulary, from elementary to advanced. You have 45 minutes. Questions appear one at a time and you cannot return to an earlier answer, so take each one as it comes.
If you are not sure of an answer, choose I don't know the answer rather than guessing — it gives your teacher a more accurate picture.
