English courses in Malta for mature students

Programmes are designed for mature students who want to improve their English through meaningful experiences while discovering Malta in a relaxed, social and engaging way.

This is not a standard English course with activities added on afterwards. Each Stay & Learn programme is built around a clear theme, with English workshops connected to the cultural experiences students enjoy during the week.

For example, students joining Taste of Malta will explore English connected to food, dining, local traditions, wine culture and hospitality. Students joining our culture and wellbeing programmes will focus on communication linked to history, travel, local life, social interaction and personal experiences.

This approach helps you learn English in context, practise naturally through shared experiences and build confidence using the language in real-life situations.

Learn English through experience

Stay & Learn 50+ is ideal for mature adult learners who want a more immersive and meaningful way to improve their English in Malta.

Lessons focus on practical communication linked directly to the programme theme. You will build useful vocabulary, improve your confidence and practise the language you need to take part fully in activities, conversations and social moments throughout your stay.

Cultural visits, food experiences, guided walks and social events become part of the learning journey, giving you opportunities to use English naturally beyond the classroom.
