When you learn a language, you need the tools to use it in contexts that make sense in the real world. We strongly believe this at International House Malta and that’s why our experienced and qualified teachers use the communicative approach with students, allowing them to use what they’ve learned within a social and travel environment from the day they learn it. The interactive approach to lessons includes the use of role-plays and tasks-based activities on topics appealing to the youth of today and provide every possible opportunity for students to speak.

Attending English courses in Malta allows students to practice the language within a multinational class with the added benefit of speaking English among the Maltese population outside of lessons. Malta is officially a bi-lingual country and students will find excellent English spoken everywhere.
Classes for our young learners are held within the premises of a four-star hotel resort in modern, spacious and well-equipped rooms. A large air-conditioned multi-purpose room is used for various activities such as testing and other onsite entertainment purposes. Adults are taught English in St Julian’s, Swieqi, and Msida Centre in Malta. Both locations are beautiful and vibrant resort areas with plenty of services and entertainment in close proximity.
IH Malta provides excellence in English courses for all levels in Malta starting from beginners to advanced learners. Students can be confident that they will be placed in a class best suited to their level, not just based on their knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary but equally on their ability to speak and understand the language. We have well-developed testing methods to ensure students are placed in the correct class from the very beginning of the course.
