English for work course in Malta

(Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursday 17.00 – 18.30 though there is flexibility for group bookings)

Many people move to Malta for employment but find they have insufficient language skills to effectively do their job. This course is held in the late afternoon to allow students to attend after work and covers General English for everyday life and the kind of language used on the job to communicate with work colleagues.

  • Understand the main points in messages, announcements, TV news items, etc.
  • Understand language connected with everyday activities e.g. personal and family information, shopping, local area.

There will also be a focus on pronunciation, allowing the learners to be more intelligible and understand better understand natural spoken English.
