## Dietary requirements

Tell us in advance about vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergy or other dietary needs. A €70 per week supplement applies. Serious food allergies are reviewed individually and cannot be confirmed until a suitable host family accepts the requirement.

## Underage students

A 17-year-old accepted to travel independently must have a signed parental consent form, a 24-hour parent or legal guardian emergency contact and school approval.

## FAQs

**Do IH Malta host families have air conditioning?**

Not all host family rooms have air conditioning. If there is no air conditioning, a fan will be provided.

**Can I request a private bathroom with a host family?**

Yes. A private bathroom can be requested, subject to availability and an additional charge.

**Can host families cater for dietary requirements?**

Often, yes, when we receive advance notice. A weekly supplement of €70 applies, and serious allergies must be confirmed individually before booking.

**Who will meet me when I arrive at my host family?**

Your compulsory arrival transfer will take you directly to the host family, who will be expecting you.
